Ok, so maybe you've heard some rumors and maybe you haven't... but either way they are true! After only 9 wonderful months of being together I popped the ultimatequestion to the girl of my dreams. Alicia Joy Daniel has been anamazing and very apparent blessing in my life for over a year now, and I am absolutely smitten in love (I am not afraid to say it). This smiting, however, has not impaired my judgement as her daily encouragement and exhortation is clearly seen and refines me into afiner man of God. This being said... I AM STOKED!
*back to the engagement* Well it all happened last Thanksgiving (thatis...after several months of planning) as we wrapped up a wonderful, relaxing, and altogether awesome weekend at home (see broncomom forpics). I planned a romantic Sunday evening at my grandmothershouse in laguna beach... a dinner in the ocean room as the sunset. Soon after we arrived & I had some of the food started, our dashing waiter arrived- Jeff Carlson complete with a dress shirt and black silk tie. He made quick work of the food preparation as Alicia and I relaxed then served us the dinner- Filet Mignon baked potatoes and veggies (we even had sparkling cider in wine glasses to complete the candlelight mood). The dinner was strangely reminiscent of our first official date exactly 9 months before. Afterwards, I pulled out a ring box from my pocked and asked... will you read this poem? Nothing was inside excepting a poem entitled "Intertwined" that I had written for her. With my somewhat disappointed girl on my arm we then headed for treasure island beach (at the base of the Montage hotel) while Jeff oh so graciously took care of the dishes. We walked along the beach for a while as it was lit nicely from above. Due to a slight communication breakdown with those I was in collusion with, this turned into a bit longer walk then expected, but a very nice one nonetheless. Before too long, however, I "stumbled upon"something laying in the sand, gently lit by blue lights from the above resort. It was a beautiful long stem rose. I handed it to the somewhat confused Alicia and asked her if there was a note on it or anything. As she looked about, I myself sifted through the sand for the "lost note". Neither one of us found such a note, but while down on a knee "looking" I happened to find a bag with a blackring box in it. I turned towards my beautiful bewildered sweetheart just as a spotlight came on from the shrubbery. A diamond shone in my hands and tears shone in Alicia's eyes. She said "yes". My heart said YES!!! Lots of hugs ensued, though it took a call or two to get our photographer and lighting crew to come out of the bushes and come congratulate us... many thanks to the LaHatt brothers and Tyler. All that being said, thank you Lord for my wonderful (now) fiance'and great group of friends who made this all come together!

| Yeah maybe... Ok guys, here it is. A Post. I know, I know, it's been forever. I was busy ok? Well, first off I would like to say that I indeed had a wonderful summer with you all. You're quite the blessing in my life. As most of you already know, I lived at home this summer and worked again at Tivoli Too! in Laguna Beach. It was lots of fun to be able to be a waiter again and also quite profitable. What all of you may not know is that I am now living in Santa Clarita again, about 5 min from TMC. I am currently looking for a job as a medical assistant/ technician or something of the like. I will ( Lord willing) be working this job for about a year, then going on to medical school. Please pray for guidence and wisdom for me in this as well as His provision of such a job (preferably close to home here). ALSO, there is a praise report in that I recently aquired a temporary job that will allow me to live/pay the rent while I wait for the other medical job to come through. I am living with/ assisting an 84 yr old christian woman on the weekends. She broke her neck, needs the help, and the pay is good. Praise the Lord for His abundant provision. thank you all for your love and care of what is going on... blessings on you! | | |

| Wow, God continues to bless my life in so many ways I don't think I could explain them all to you. I daily realize what a worm I am. I'm just a slimy nothing really that eats dirt and feels like he's drowning everytime the rain of trials come. Kind of a pathetic loser really. Yet God keeps using me, even when I am feeling the most pathetic. He shows me that I can always come to Him when I feel like I'm drowning and even turns my mud mastication into something that fertilize the beautiful garden plan He has. Wow... incredible.
Speaking of incredible- the rumors are true. God blessed me with someone that contantly blesses, encourages, and exhorts me. Once again I am humbled and given far more than I deserve

snow... and beach!
The blessings flow down. My praises go up! | | |
